Well, I gave up on posting some time ago; when a technical issue with blogger updates and my web browser prevented me from posting or editing or approving content.

It looks like google fixed that issue sometime in the past year; so we will try to fire up the ol' blog engine and get back to it.

So the ruling is that employees were unfairly treated since other consessions are made, like the morning paper... but the numbers say that it does cost real money, not just in lost time, but in bandwidth costs, etc. This will be one the HR and legal folks should pay attention to.
